I decided to put strips of cheap contact paper on the ledges and anywhere applying then applying the clear tape over the contact paper this way it at is to the paper vs my house

It probably would’ve worked but it doesn’t come in flat sheets so it’s impossible to get it to lay down flat so it’s impossible to use in places like this unless i used a staple gun to hold it down
