Built thicker to handle higher speeds & more durable to last. Might be a little less flexible than some thinner cables.
The 3foot cables are perfect for my tv stand and has eliminated the unholy cable rats’ nest that it once was. Comes in a convenient 3ft size for easy setup. Can't go wrong ordering this one assuming the length is appropriate.
The price seems ok compared with other cat 8 cables. Got this ethernet cord to replace my cat7. Needed two catx cables because it's the summer and the summer means lighting. It is backward compatible which is great.
Cat8 has a theoretical max speed of 40gbps. It's not 1000/1000 but it's very close at ~ 900 for download and ~ 600/700 for upload. With enough flex to make a bend from u1 to u3-6, the speed is retained from 5gb unit to 5gb unit.
Cons
The connector on one end got stuck in a device and required me to use considerable force to remove it. It is also thinner than my favorite brand of cat 8 cable, queenmicro. This nonsense isn't even specific to amazon.

Beyond the tests, this cord feels sturdy and well-made, so i expect it will hold up for standard uses

It was a decent price as well.
But 10gb equipment is getting very affordable and this cable handles it nicely.
Packaging/appearance
This is exactly as described and pictured by the vendor.
They come with a nice velcro strap which is a nice touch!
The shiny silver box around the connector (shown in the second photo) might just be painted plastic rather than the usual metal.
Competitiveness
Speeds are as good as anything else and less clutter.

I realize i am not using this cable at anywhere near its rated speed and i dont really have a way of testing its speed capability beyond the 10gbps that even short cat6 lengths can handle

But as i said i just wanted a cable that was rated for a much higher capacity that i would ever use it for in order to guarantee that there wasnt a bottleneck in the system before it got into my internal network which is all connected via 10gbps fiber links
