The 50th anniversary edition of catch-22 is a celebration of joseph heller's iconic satirical novel. Heller's writing style infuses the narrative with a sense of irony and absurdity that leaves readers simultaneously amused and contemplative.

This book is a classic dramedy that reads like a m*a*s*h episode. This 1961 novel is brilliant and hilarious.
Narration by jay o. Is hard to describe. The gags and ascerbic points stick with you, and i'm still quoting this book frequently in coversation 30 years after i first read it. It is the type of book where you can sit down and get lost.
Cons
The book is not the actual book of catch 22 but rather a sort of introductory booklet about the book catch 22. It only includes the introduction and accompanying essays. Yeah totally, definitive except for the actual freaking novel!
