As i expected i just received a defective unit and the only issue is that i couldnt contact anyone directly had to to through amazon and do the refund thing

On the item i received the part that screws into the light bulb socket wasnt attached properly and completely came of when trying to install

Instructions dont indicate alternate screws to affix to existing light fixtures which is much easier
