Pros
Compares easily to speakers costing $150 each or more. They’re not even close to broken in yet and my wife and i are amazed.
These speakers are very loud and clear with no rattling or distortion. Pair them with a polk subwoofer and the system sounds amazing. I don't think you could beat it at twice the price.
These are inexpensive speakers that actually sound pretty good! They sound good with the bass and treble all the way up. These sound amazing on my sony str dn1080.
Cons
The mounting hardware is just plain awful. You have to tighten and losen with 1/4 turns to cut threads in the plastic. Beware the normal interior wall width after cut out from inside of the cut out, back wall of the sheet rock to the outside wall is 4... Read More

The enclosure rattles at low volume and sounds as if the speaker is faulty. Spend a bit more for the polk speakers.

It does indeed look like recycled plastics in the construction probably good from a reuse stand point and cheaper these were inexpensive and extra care when installing them is great forewarning

When you are backing them up they will slip over the top allowing them to be turned out of the way

Make sure that they are still a bit tight and dont let them slide all the way back out as they wont reseat every time especially when you dont see them in the drywall hole

Even tight they will turn easily out of the way when you go to set them in the wall but wont be likely to break on their way down though make sure to use a hand screwdriver as you dont want to over tighten any of them

Amazon sent a replacement and that box was ripped open as well thankfully not as bad as the first
