You can then just take out or slot the phone into holder without opening up the clamp every time

I was originally disappointed because i tried and found it did not accomodate my samsung j5 despite being for all smartphones however on further examination and trying i did manage to get it to fit

In one of my cars the vents are inclined towards the bottom and prevent this holder from being installed

Will work better with vertical vents or inclined slightly upwards like on the picture of the description of the product

It does however seriously limit the amount of air you are going to get from that vent and the vent itself will become nearly impossible to aim at the driver

Very easy to fix to air vent and also to put phone in and out

Only point ill make is it could do with small foot on which to rest base of phone while phone is fixed in place
