The base of the stand is heavy and stable. It has a nice rubber pad to hold onto the phone better with little ridges.

Cons

I wish she had notified me about this as i would have had her return it! But their current quality of product is bellow average its flimsy, and to short.

Stand is too light to hold an ipad. Bottom screw becomes loose when you turn the stand a few times. Cradle is too narrow to hold the ipad.
