Pros
The base feels sturdy. I like it is tall enough that leaves lots of clearance for the charging cable on the bottom. The charger cable fits in place while in the stand.
This simple, inexpensive design is perfect to meet my requirements. Now my sister wants one so i will buy a 3rd when it have discount again.
Excellent for calls and viewing messages. Great for facetime calls or simply a nice holder for traditional communications. There just isnt a real convenient place for this.
Cons
Too tall to accommodate my iphone. Was unable to adjust for facetime with my grandkids. I prefer the goose neck much more!
All the parts just fall apart. The first half of the shaft too just falls off if you pull it. There is a flow in the way the piece the screw goes into, preventing it from going in properly.

Had to shave a tiny bit off stand to get it to fit into the stem

I’ve never actually tried this but you could probably telescope the arm to its max and lay the carriage horizontally to record yourself drawing or something like that but the arm is not super long so you’d probably need to set the stand up on something else

If i am facetiming someone and i don’t want them to see me i’ll press the phone down horizontally so the other party looks at the ceiling
