Pros

If you have a group of friend who wants to try something new as an alternative to dnd games. Gloomhaven is a really difficult and complex game but the tutorial give you just the right amount of complexity in each level so it don’t feel overwhelm.

Cons

This game is horribly complicated. If that doesn't peg your cringe-o-meter, you'll probably love it. If using the original insert, it's an extremely tight squeeze to the point i keep checking to make sure nothing is being bent.

Jaws of the lion is hands down the best game for the price i have seen.

Overall it's a smaller, refined, more manageable gloomhaven.

I even found it helped me to better understand the rules of gloomhaven.

Gloomhaven jaws of the lion is also all new content, so don't worry about duplicating material found in the larger gloomhaven game.

Simpler than the regular gloomhaven, but just as fun.
