Pros

The colors, pictures and text on the 8. Kindle fire hd8. Loved it. Got stolen. Bought a new kindle fire 10. Amazon.

Cons

Amazon fire 2 is a terrible tablet. It is very restricted on app installations due to google play store being forbidden. They block spotify, youtube, google crome, playstore. Save yourself a lot of grief and buy an android tablet instead.

I have the wake/sleep cover and still it will no loner charge. As of now have to prop it against something to keep the charging connection. I find it hard to believe that they'd sell a product designed not to last even 2 yrs of occasional use!

Also slow, cumbersome. Takes so long to start anything. It frequently shuts itself down for no reason.
