Pros

The kindle paperwhite is a great ebook reader.

No micro scratches or other physical damage (has sat in a case since day 1) unnoticeable slowdown in navigating and page turning. The matte screen is deluxe. The only flaws it has are two dots (pixels) of bright light.

Cons

This poorly-designed, flimsy device is just not worth the money. It's much better to just download the free kindle app and read it on your laptop or ipad.

Amazon usually has a liberal return policy, but this item had a one-day return deadline. Sent back. Beyond frustrated with amazon.

It looks like glue or some other chemical got onto the plastic and corroded the surface. The screen flips back to the picture screen about every 2 minutes. Sometimes it immediately reverts back.

The kindle paperwhite is great as an idea, but unfortunately, my experience with the product has been that it never lived up to its billing. It has been more hype than helpful and more hassle than convenient. Is this the quality you advertise?
