Pros

It was recommended by my dermatologist for my face and also for my infant son's diaper rash. It's very gentle on her skin. It takes off the makeup and give you a great clean without drying you out.

Cetaphil lotion is amazing by the way! Otherwise, great product. My skin prefers this more generic formula. No more fancy, shamancy facial cleansers for me.

Cons

This face wash is like water, barely produces a lather and slips right thru your fingers when you try to transfer it to your face. It’s a milky color and slightly water consistency. It feels like washing with an oily slime.

It’s a single, badly packaged, leaking bottle. The ingredient list showing in description is the old formula.

You shouldn't buy it from amazon or this seller. In my experience the higher in the list the more highly rated by customers. Wasn’t excited with the quality.

Love this product and it was a really great price i will order it again!

Basically i paid a $50 copay to my dermatologist to have her tell me to use cetaphil face cleansing products.

The price is a little expensive but not bad considering the size of the bottle, 16 fluid ounces.

This is good product for the money for cleansing and moisturizing sensitive skin.

Also, i use cetaphil body wash on a daily basis but not the particular item i was sent.

I was sent the wrong item and had to return it.

Packaging/appearance

I was expecting 2 bottles of the gentle skin cleanser and only received 1 and a facial cleanser.

I liked when the product came as expected, what i didn't like is advertising product you don't have.

Competitiveness

I definitely prefer this one for "all skin types" compared to the oily formula.

It is great and reasonably priced compared to the "upscale" brands.

However, it seems the cetaphil is now only available in stores in specific formulas.
