The hardness is good but the only reason im giving it a 3 start because the strap keep coming apart when you run with the weight pushing you back the strap then to come right off
The strap includes 2 heavyduty carabiners that i attached to both ends of the chain
I have been using this harness to pull an 80 lb chain for the past couple of months
It is well made feels relatively comfortable and im guessing it would work with much heavier weights without problems
