My concern with installing the unit unassembled was i would mount both arms then the cross bar holes would not match which appeared to happen to another reviewer

I did not drill the bolt blocked by the arm and used a wrench to hammer to get started then screwed in the rest of the way with a wrench

If you are doing butterfly pullups they may need a tad bit of spacing
