Pros
Setting is excellent as you will not need to do it manually. This clock looks smart and gives you plenty of information at a glance. When the battery is inserted in the top mechanism, it adjusts itself automatically.
Cons
Box with date, month etc is impossible to see unless you go right up to the clock. Box also obscures the hands as they pass over. The instruction paper is not clear either.

I am grateful that he volunteered though because for us laymen even reading the manual not always helps
