Pros & Cons
Pros
The champion eclipse racquet is light and sturdy for beginner pickleball players. I'm a beginner so this paddle works great for me. Loved the racquet. A great beginners paddle with a great pop.
It's way better than the cheap plastic ones you get at walmart. Have only used paddle a few times so will update review again.
Cons
It supposedly has good playability ratings. However it is not if a person has big hands. The handle is 4 1/2 at best.
Highlights
Quality
I got to play with the champion eclipse today.
I was pleased with the feel and weight of this paddle.
The paddle comes with a cover which is nice, but the cover quality is basic, and it is too loose.
It is not the quality of the $100-120 paddles, but a nice step up from my initial wooden paddles for a much better price.
Price
The price was right for this newbie!
Competitiveness
I am a newbie pickleball player and was happy to see choices based upon body type etc in paddles.
I'm new to the sport of pickleball.
