Pros

The waistband has great stretch with a drawstring. My only gripe is that they are so breathable that the inner label is visible through the shorts. These shorts are great for anything.

Nice elastic waist, thin material (but not underwear-thin) with a solid layer underneath. The polyester mesh fabric is soft and smooth. Very roomy and very breathable.

The length is perfect for me, not too short and just above the knee. Compared to some of the more expansive brands - like nike and adidas - champion has an excellent product here that’s stood the test of time. Logo is small and tastefully done.

Pockets are good but your phone might slip out when you sit down. I love that they have two front pockets, so i can wear them while out and about and not just when exercising. They're my go-to for working out or when i'm at home.

Cons

The drawstring is worthless because it doesn't stay tied. Since it's plastic, it just slides looser. The waist fit is loose and the longer than expected or needed drawstring does not help.

They look ridiculous when you're wearing them. Spend a few more bycks and get a different pair. I’m so disappointed since the older pairs were so nice!

You'll appreciate the side pockets and that the drawcord is one continuous cord so it'll never pull through the holes during a wash.

These are great shorts for the money, only gripe is that they are so breathable that the inner label is visible through the shorts.

Name-brand shorts at about 1/2 the price as store-bought.

Competitiveness

Way better than the $45 nikes i have.

These are much thinner than nike and adidas shorts i've bought in the past.
