They're comfortable without being paper thin, they're made out of good quality fabric and they get the job done perfectly for me.
Although i prefer the champion mesh shorts with the built in liner, these particular shorts are of a much lighter material.

Without the lining the shorts tend to cling to my boxer shorts and bunch up pretty bad
