Pros

This blanket is light enough to not smother you. Its warm and snuggly with a plush feel. The soft side is the softest i've ever felt in a blanket.

I was stumped as to what to get a couple of people for christmas. It makes the most wonderful gift for any occasion! Looks gorgeous, feels like great quality.

The sherpa backing is very durable and doesn't shed. I wash mine often as i have a dog that sheds and shares it with me. I find i have to replace the throw once a year if i want to keep up it's luxurious feel but that's on me and my washing/drying oft... Read More

One side is fleece (i think or at least a similar material) so i can imagine that may get rough over washes but very nice!

Cons

After 2 winters, it has holes, the underside feels awful to touch and every strand of fur or crumb sticks to it. Once you wash, it sheds everywhere on everything and the fleece side gets stiff and scratchy. It sheds more than my cat btw.

The blanket has random spots of discoloration. There was blue fuzz all over the place. Semi-impossible to remove.

The color was more of a tomato-y red than maroon, but still quite pretty.

This gets three stars because it is very soft but i think the quality just isn't quite there.
