Signal Reception
Customers have mixed opinions on the signal reception of the Chaowei DVB66 TV Digital Antenna, but generally positive. Some customers reported excellent reception with optimal placement and the use of an amplifier, while others had satisfactory results without it. The antenna's size and ease of positioning were also noted as advantages.
Channel Variety
Customers report receiving a significant number of free channels with this antenna, including some international and local options. However, not all customers were able to receive cable channels like ESPN, Fox Sports, CNN, etc. The sentiment is mixed regarding the availability of these channels.

Highlights
Quality
This antenna does have quite a long cable so positioning it for optimal reception is pretty easy.
This helped a lot with the occasional signal degradation on some channels.
This thing is no taller than a 12oz beer can and it totally blew away an rca antenna i was originally using.
This is not powered, by the way, and i did not need power to get excellent reception.
Price
He said there would be an additional $50 charge to install an antenna connection to any other room.
It might be best to order the chaowei amplifier ($10) if you don't already have one.
With that being said for the price i paid for this little antenna i think it's worth it considering it stabilized channels that... Read More
You get what you pay for sometimes.
Shipping
I also sent her the channel master lte filter ($20) available here on amazon.
The fed even sent out vouchers for households to purchase a new antenna that would receive the digital signal.
I received it a few weeks ago and, needless to say, i'm still stunned.
Packaging/appearance
The unit is small enough to pack in overnight suitcase and has a very long cord, is water-proof and be used in any weather condition.
I laughed 😅 when i opened the box and saw how tiny this is.
It has a magnetic base and the box it comes in is surprisingly only 5 inches tall.
Competitiveness
To compare i hooked up the tv to my rca directional outdoor antenna which is inside of the house.
Subscribing to passport and peacock resolved those issues.
Many deceptive and cheaper antennas claim you can get espn, fox sports, cnn, and other cable channels.
This little antenna performs better than a $75 mohu leaf glide antenna that i sent her last year!

For the tv in the our bedroom ive been using our early 1990s houses copper ground wire and a cable extendercoupler for an antenna and that works beautifully but in the living room where the most watched tv is there is too much interference to get one of the main networks we want metv on seattles channel 44

Using house ground and a powered catv drop signal amplifier i could get everything but 44

Since cable tv coaxial cables are designed as transmission cables and one can go up to a 1000 feet i traced the cable that runs through my attic to the coax cable junction outside our house and from there to the jack behind the tv
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I cut and stripped the cable in our attic and put a compression fitting on the end hooked it up to a coupler and hooked the antenna up to it

I placed the antenna at the very front of the house
