Ok if there are adults around, not recommended to use around young ones. Would have preferred something more secure.

I did a couple of searches and found that weber do an attachment that allow you to use a standard patio-gas cylinder with the bbq.

Once it was fitted it worked well but as above a bit fiddly to fit as the instructions could be a lot better

Initially i found it quite difficult to attach onto the patio gas cylinder it didnt always click into placed and was very irritating

I had a plan to cut off the regulator on this hose and replace it with a standard propane regulator

It doesnt work the standard propane regulator doesnt allow enough pressure through to the bbq and wont allow it to light

So in short if you planned to adapt this hose to work on the big red cheaper propane bottles

Dont bother it wont work just use the green patio gas bottles saves hassle and headaches and still works out cheaper than using small cannisters
