Pros

This is the second char-broil i have owned, can’t imagine using any other grille. Build quality of the grill is good, however the tru-infrared grates are a bit tricky to work with.

It cooks evenly and is easy to use. Distributes heat evenly & cooks faster than traditional grills. The smoke created by drippings on the infa-red grids adds flavor to the food.

Cons

Shame on you, char broil. For $400 it’s a big disappointment. It is not really infrared.

Competitiveness

This is the second of the exact same model i had for 10 years and it performs and holds up as well as much more expensive model.

While some may say the construction is flimsy, it was better than the previous super cheap home depot grill.

Overall, it's a good grill, just messy then other grills i've used.
