Pros
Red bristles make the grill look crisp and matchy-matchy. Strong enough to cut through the baked on debris. Works well on cold grates. Metal brushes scratch the grate.
Bristles remain in tact and sturdy so that you can apply needed pressure. Summer time is fast approaching, but strangely enough, i use my grill in the winter as well!
A simple rinse is all it takes to keep it in top-notch condition. Get with spray cleaner, and keep them looking like new. I use the clean setting on the burners and then use the brush after the grill has cooled.

Does the job well though it is strange to clean the grill when it is cold if you are use to doing it with a wire bristled grill brush

The fear with wire is that they can come out of the brush and get lodged in the food
