Pros
These utensils are sturdy and clean very easily. Sturdy enough to grab items from the shelves.
Better than tongs or flipper. Great for grilling.

Cons
The char-broil spatula is very weak due to the finished shape process. They build an almost perfect set of tongs, then ruin them with the cheapest, sorriest rivet pivot you can imagine.

We looked and couldn't find another set so even when the inside plastic broke off in the dishwasher, i kept using 'em.
Competitiveness
My old charbroil tongs broke after 3 years of weekly use.
Not the sturdiest, but it's very good considering the competition available.
I saw the individual utencils in big box stores, but it was cheaper to buy as a set from amazon.

As for brats i cook low heat and slowly and the brats expand and boil on the inside nothing worse than a cracked casing
