Pros
Lots of savory steak searing realestate. Soak them in water for several hours to make sure they are saturated. That lower temp around 450-500 helps you season the grate all around.
Works like a champ. I'm a believer in this grill. I seldom write reviews, but this little grill is worth sharing.
Cons
It cooks extremely hot--not much temperature regulation, between hi and low. No bigger meats like steak or chicken. This is not a good buy for someone who wants their meals cooked correctly.
New regulator is $40. Works but still wont ignite burner. It says no flareups with the infra-red in the advertisement, but anything with grease drip will cause severe flareups.
In its factory form this grill has 2 temp. The tempurature dial has little effect on the temp desired.

The base is sturdy, the handles are big and sturdy and even grilling at high temps i do not see any sort of warping or issues.
It is very adaptable and easy to adjust in order to attain exact cooking temperatures and consistent results.

The next day i used the grill for the first time preheating according to instructions

The smoke during preheating was very intense but when i put my 8515 hamburgers on the grill the smoke was out of control

I just wish there was a suggestion for keeping the smoke to a minimum as this is advertised as a “smoke free” grill
