This grill is great for grilling. It's not charcoal or gas, but as a city-dweller, it's the best i've come across. More expensive than george foreman brand, but truly worth expense!

It cooks amazingly fast, chars the meat, heats up quickly. Love using for bbq'ing steak & chicken.

Not flimsy and fold down. Easy to put together. My only concern is a blemish / rub-mark on one of the fold out trays.

The grill barely gets up to a decent temperature and when it does it loses all of its heat the second you open the lid. This is most likely due to the cheap grilling surface used. Every time the lid is opened, the temp drops by two thirds.

After a week or so char-broil reconsidered and asked me to only pay for shipping. On top of that, he says it would have to be disassembled to send it back. It * and i'm going back to my old tabletop.

Unacceptable, disrespectful. The instructions have so many pieces going into one section at a time that it's hard to discern which is which. The only thing that's marked properly are the nuts and bolts.
