Not being able to close the grill to trap the smoke and flavors was a big negative

I marinated some small trout in an oil based marinate then oiled the basket really good but the fish still stuck

Second it closes rather firmly which is nice in that it wont open accidentally but is less nice when you are done cooking the basket is hot and you have to pry it open

Put scalllops in it and they were not thick enough to really use this when we flipped them over they kind of flopped about

The problem has always been the handle on these units will never allow one to put the lid on the weber as it sticks too far out of the weber base

This product works great for fish but the handle can be awkward to use to flip
