Pros
The app does all the work. Probe are paired by bluetooth. I also use my iphone as the receiver so even then, it makes it easier to use.
Only chef iq appliances have these codes. It tells you if you need to rotate, flip, change the temp. One concern i haven't yet addressed is thermometer calibration.
Smoked brisket, oven roasted turkey, prime rib, and chicken on the grill x2. Helps me achieve the most juicy chicken and steaks i ever had.
The app gives you instructions on where to place the thermometer in the meal. It takes out all of the guesswork but also allows you to customize recipes. App comes with multiple recipes and step by step instructions.
Cons
One probe always reads about 10⁰ higher than the other. What is very frustrating is that the hub has to be like less than 2 feet away to work properly. The bluetooth also disconnects frequently. A second one 10 channels away and it can't connect to th... Read More
Tech support is a nightmare. Backed by slow unhelpful customer service which just gets folded in transit. This is aweful.

Excellent wi-fi thermometer very impressed with it so impressed.
Quality build, great app, and finally being able to cook juicy chicken breasts and steaks on the grill without undercooking or overcooking.
I was using a meater plus which wasn’t as good, disconnection issues constantly, no where near as good app.
The probe kept getting submerged in the cooking liquid and then the charging base would tell me the connection was lost.
Price
It's pricy but easily the best money i've spent since i use it daily.
The price is higher but it’s worth it for what you get.
Keep an eye for it to go to $100.
Competitiveness
Chose to go with a different brand and glad i did.
I've tried many, but all pale in comparison to this product!

I’ve had 0 issues in with those types of dishes however when i tried using this to make a pot roast it took me a dozen tries to place the probe in a position where it wouldn’t disconnect
