It seems to have a problem with ambient temp which affects calculations for remaining time cooking

I did use a heat gun and managed to bend it back into shape and do still use it but you should put some space between the heat source and the base unit

I had the original chef iq and had bought a second probe for it

Problem was the original chef iq could only charge one probe at a time so id notoriously have a dead probe when i needed it most

This one can charge 3 probes at a time and came with 3 probes

I believe there are other options in this listing so you may be looking at one that charges 2 or 4 at a time
