Great to toss a skillet into camp gear and cook eggs and bacon instead of boring 'ol oatmeal. Blackening of meats as most chefs know, requires an extremely hot skillet.

The flame is excellent - it works well for boiling and for lower temps as well. Easy ignite, rapid start, and runs hot. The igniter makes it a breeze.

A lot of trouble for a much more expensive, inconvenient model. The butane that they sell in the chef master brand is grossly overpriced. Case was chipped and cracked.
