Pros & Cons
Pros
Love the ratchet action. Ease of use is great for someone like me who has shoulder and wrist issues. He is left handed and had no problem.
This can opener is very sturdy. Place on the can edge and gently squeeze, squeezing, squeeze.
Cons
The idea of this product is fantastic, unfortunately the life span is entirely too short, esp for the cost of the item. Honestly i love this product but this is the 2nd one that hasn't even made it past 3-6 months.
The ratcheting device can suddenly no longer move. It slips as it rotates around the can and doesn't cut it at all. After trying to open a can a little sliver of metal remains connecting the lid and can.
Highlights
Quality
Better than my old electric, easier to clean, takes way less space and very sturdygood for old crippled people like me
Plus, the stainless steel blade is sharp and durable, making it a breeze to open even the toughest cans.
The gear stripped out after opening about 12 cans.
The battery operated ones keep breaking and i'm tired of buying new ones every six months!
Price
I’ve lost it when i got this back it was a fraction of the cost of what the green and white one was looks identical.
