Highlights
Quality
I am very happy with this product.
Obviously, we were happy with the old chef's choice slicer to get this replacement.
There were no problems with the button, it just seemed awkward.
Compared with the chef's choice 610 (under $100), 630 was made in germany, that is all.
Price
It is easy to clean and the product is well worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
You have to put pressor on the it anyway.
Competitiveness
Much better than the cheaper underpowered models that are nearly impossible to clean properly.
It's relatively compact: when not in use, it fits on our under-counter turnaround.
At this point i'll give it a 4-star, rather than a 5-star, because it's only been used once.
I think it is because there is a 630 varitilt, and you will pay anoth $50 more, just for marketing.
