Pros
This sharpener sharpens the knife beautifully. After a year of using it without honing or sharpening, this restored it to brand new. This thing sharpens knives!
Cons
Did not sharpen any of my quality knives. I did not sharpen any of them.

So i gave it 4 stars because i am leery of concerns regarding the lifetime of the product.
Used this with the knives we had at the office and it made them sharper than new.
But this product at this point seems ok.

I have a shun classic 834 chefs knife and it needs a narrow sharpening angle

I have an older whet wheel that i can set a precise angle with but it is unwieldy time consuming to set up and must be stored elsewhere
