It boils the water, but doesn't have any keep warm function like the chefman.

I got a great deal on this kettle from amazon warehouse deals.
Bought this on sale as a temporary replacement of my more expensive kettle that died on me all of a sudden after 2 years.
Although it doesn't have the flip open lid and one touch temperature setting as my old kettle, for the price i have no complaint
Update - may 30, 2023 - i bought this kettle "used" at a spectacular discount well over a year ago.

What i dont like is that the keep warm feature is always on you have to remember to press the button to turn it off every time or it will keep warming up to temperature
