After there are popped kernels the motion helps unpopped kernels to fall back to the heat however in this unit there is less time moving up the column so more unpopped kernels make it out

I agree with other reviewers towards the end of the popping session seeds start flying all over the kitchen

So this most recent time i popped the seeds i just took two paper plates and held them near the sides of the machine opening and the seeds ricocheted off the plates and into my popcorn bowl
