It also looks really nice. Just a handy little shortcut. I have only one complaint but it’s minor.
The kettle's 1500 watt heater heats a full charge of water quite rapidly. An led temperature indicator shows the temperature as the kettle heats. Heats up very quickly.
Cons
When it boils, a third of the water ends up on the counter/floor. After the second time i set to boil, for cleaning, it now flashes the lights on and off. There was leaking under the base of the kettle.
The never hits temperature. The knobs and controls are poorly thought out. Color coding base has issues that changes color as the water warms sounds impressive but was a disappointment.

Button won't work if you rush and press immediately after placing on pad.
There is only stainless steel and glass in contact with the water.
Price
It was cheap and didn't function well.
Packaging/appearance
The first kettle arrived in a pretty busted box and was missing the instruction manual entirely.
Competitiveness
This is by far the best, it costs more than the others but it has capabilities other heaters do not.

I bought this unit because i was looking for a kettle with temperature adjustment beyond the standard presets i wanted one that heated fast i wanted water level indication without plastic in contact with the waterit works well and delivers on the above points

White for standby red for heating green for at setpoint or keep warm

This unit obviously is nearly all glass so you can easily see the level
