It did scorch the bottom of the large hotel pan of mac and cheese but i realize i could have had a larger pan with water in it underneath and that would probably work better for future use

I have seen others say you shouldnt use foil pans as it may burn food but i had no issue as i used a timer to make sure my food was hot during the times i needed it to be

Did not see a switch for onoff just needed to unplug when done
