Pros

The timer is accurate and works as expected. You can set it to any temp you want. It comes with instructions and a time table on how long certain things need to dehydrate.

This is what i needed all along, it is an awesome dehydrator for my beef jerky. This dehydrator is simply great. It is amazing. This is a good dehydrator that will definitely do the job.

I wish i granddad was around to gift him one. I wish it was prettier. It's very lightweight, but it's large.

The dehydrator, trays and door are made of plastic.

The first time i used it i knew it'd need a test run because it is all made of plastic and it definitely smelled like plastic.

Price

Way cheaper than in the store and will save me a lot of money down the road.

However, they can become pricey when you buy them in store and it’s not easy to make in an oven.

Competitiveness

As an overview, this chefman is far easier to use than the nesco.

Easy to clean , works great and seems less clunky than the nesco brand.

This is my first dehydrator so i can't compare it to other models.

This is one area where the nesco scores more points, as you could set it to any temp you wanted.
