    Its not 100 perfect but it is a heckuva lot better than the first kettle i received which i assume was an isolated incident of a defective unit

    Its completely stainless steel inside so the water never touches any plastic parts and the exterior wall is plastic which means that its completely cool to the touch even after boiling
