Pros
Second one works perfectly so far. Has a nifty blue light when it is on. Give it a little shake. It is just perfect.
Cons
The products are only warrantied for 1 year. High priced appliances with a one year warranty. Highly disappointment. The kettle is useless!
After turning it on, it shuts off before the water is hot. The lid being down is what causes the kettle to turn off, so it's easy to come into a kitchen with it still boiling.
The metal on the lid and the metal inside the kettle on the bottom is rusting. If this loose dangling wire gets out of alignment by a millimeter it will stop connecting. I suppose i should be thankful that it simply stopped working and didn't create a... Read More

Shuts off as soon as boiling temp is reached.

At least the pour spout and thin plastic mesh therein which is easily removable is the only plastic making contact with boiling liquids

Hopefully it is a one off situation and because it is under warranty chefman will replace it and the new one will last 3 years as the warranty suggests
