For those it does require a little work twistingturning the device like your sawing the kernels off

It does the job but it is hard to use

I felt that the hole of the cutter was too large to work

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It was too big for many of the small ends of the ears and wasted a lot of the most tender corn

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

To solve this we started at the big end and only went down the ear about half way then backed it off

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The only drawback comes from the corn itself as the cutting ring on this tool is not adjustable

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its meant to be twisted as you move it down the cob so that the serrated teeth saw off the kernels
