Cons

Chemical guys grit guards are not worth the $9 to send back. All the ones i've received recently have problems including things like clayblock/even wash mitt. I may miss the 30 day window due to delayed shipments.

Too big to fall all the way to the bottom of a standard 5gal baer paint bucket, so it sits about 3 to 5 off the bottom. Does not fit lowes or home depot buckets. They owe me the bucket that fits this product.

Not too much is 'trapped' under this contraption. Will stop about 5 from the bottom of the bucket. Manufacturer wants you to have visions of a dyson vacuum cleaner or a industrial wood shop vacuum which uses spiraling air currents.

This is better than other grit guards and there are many youtube videos explaining the science behind the cone structure.

It will not fit properly in the standard 5 gal buckets you buy from lowe’s or home depot.
