It has much more padding than the britax high-back booster my son has.
My daughter recently grew out of her britax convertible 5-point harness and needed a high-back booster.
As with all chicco products, this is a high-quality item.
Yes, it’s heavier than my son’s britax booster, but i’d rather have sturdiness and comfort over flexibility and a tinier footprint.

The shoulder belt was easy to insert into the guide there would be no way even grandma could get it wrong

All other booster seats were only able to lift the head protector as the child grows leaving the neck and shoulders completely unprotected

I like the booster it seems like a good seat but i am a little irritated that in amazon’s description of features it clearly states “2 position backrest backrest reclines easily to comfortably mimic vehicle seat position” and even shows a photo despite this being a blatant liewrong information

I wish it did recline because i don’t like how it doesn’t lean all the way back against the vehicle seat leaving a large gap which makes it mobile and “flimsy” as others have stated

Apparently this is normal and the seat relies on the child’s weight being in it to hold it back
