Pros

It is huge and heavy, but the quality is top notch. It's a high-quality brand new chicco with a manufacture date just 4 months prior to purchase. It’s a breeze. We have one for both cars and they are consistent in design and quality.

I am an unashamed baby product snob, and i tend to lean toward european products. I love that the buckle where the straps go into is nice and long and meets baby at their stomache. Solid carseat construction.

The cushion is super comfortable to be in too. The padding is great, it even looks comfortable. It’s much more comfortable for my little guy with the extra leg room. It kinda makes me jealous that i don’t get to be that comfortable in the car.

Very comfortable convertible car seat. But all convertible car seats are heavy. This is like a completely no fuss car seat! It's the only car seat you'll be satisfied with.

The one drawback of the rava is that if you don’t get it right, you have to let the seatbelt go completely back to the seat, but it does let you change the position of the * strap. There is a strap loosening orange button.

Cons

The latch system is too long and is unable to get tight enough. It disintegrates on the first attempt to unzip the car seat cover. The fussiness of installation means it's not good for travel.

Returned that one too, even after talking with the cpst at baby jogger.

As you can see with the picture his shoe literally punctured a hole on side of box causing it to have damages on car seat.

Packaging/appearance

There is a learning curve to installing, but once it's in, the carseat does not wiggle or flop around.

We've been using the chicco keyfit for years and love it.

The part of the belt that is by my child's lap lays on top of the lap where as in the keyfit it came over more by the hip.

The old nextfit was a bear to install without the latches.
