It is a great quality rug and super soft which i appreciate stepping out of bed onto something this amazing!
It's not too shiny, it just looks like a quality rug that has been around for a hundred years!

I purchased this for my bedroom which would need a 9x12 horizontally placed rug in order to look right.
I really like this rug, the actual measurements are 9'8 by 14 which was frustrating because i wanted a full 10x14 for my large living room.

I ordered a rug pad because the backing on this is semi rough and everyone said it is a thin rug which it is

It looked new except for some fraying along the edge which i think someone saw and returned and not that it was there from any use
