However more basically the lights should have their own manual onoff switch in case the remote gets lost or malfunctions but i cannot find such a switch on these so it looks like they can only be operated with the remote

Further and i doubt i am alone in this i would prefer to be able to simply buy some still lights that turn on and off i am not a little kid and do not need 8 different flashing and moving settings

I dont understand why the vast majority of the available string light sets are suddenly impossible to get in a simpler form such as one setting and no remote

Some styles of lights might make sense to have lots of settings with moving and flashing and going out for coffee but for something like these it is not really appropriate or necessary

I have a lot of light sets and dont want to keep track of lots of tiny low quality remotes they all look the same and i am not keen on buying batteries for the remotes those for the lights are expensive enough or figuring out how to change them

But since these lights appear to have no manual switch i will have to do both of those or else just get rid of the lights once the remote stops working

If any appropriate parties read this please always give the light sets a manual onoff please allow customers the option of no remote and just one still setting rather than a bunch of rather silly to be honest moving and flashing settings
