It is a easy read that refutes many things taught about are subjective. This book claims it is for entertainment purposes only but it is quite factual.
Captivating history succeeds in giving readers an unaltered account. Author does a great job building background knowledge of the time of history he is exploring.
Cons
The narrative appears to be written as a homework report by a 7th grader. In the bibliography section they just throw in a few urls from who knows what sources. Some of the information is inaccurate or just flat out incomplete!

Captivating history has put all the facts about christopher columbus in this quick reading interesting piece for us but if you only know the grammer school version of him being the first person to discover america then the facts might come as a shock
