Pros

The holes in the strainer are large enough so that the food steams quicker. Easy cleaning. It cleans very easily because it is nonstick. These things cook so even and cleanup afterwards just fixes everything you hate about cleaning pors and pans.

Pot heats evenly on my induction cooktop. Purchased to use with countertop induction.

This pan seems to be sturdier. Not too heavy. Heavy-duty bottoms that i expect will not warp. Love it for pancakes.

Cons

Another circulon, non stick coating. Product description says the pot as being oven safe to 500°f. Safety and care info says that the temperature in fact in 400°f.

The pot is, of course, and is handy for those times when you want a bit larger than the 2qt pan but don't want to break out the 8qt pot.

Love having the drainage holes in the lid.

Purchased separately to go with a circulon set that lacked a big saucepan.

I searched for quite awhile to find a circulon pot this size that was not in a set.

Modern replacement for my trusted circulon dutch oven, which gave up its soul after many years of dedicated service.
