Pros

Once you clean it up and break it in, the button action smooths itself out and it's less sticky and gritty. You won't be disappointed.

Leads me to believe this is some sort of etching patter & not 110 layer damascus steel as listed. Media could not be loaded.

Quality

I'm pretty amazed by the quality for under $100.

I am very impressed with the build quality from a chinese made knife.

Fast delivery but disappointed with the button lock stick.

I found it hard to reliably activate the button lock with the small cutout.

Price

It fits in my hand perfect and is a good price considering the blade steel and great civivi reputation.

Closest knife i can compare this to is my 940-1 osborne that cost $300.

Packaging/appearance

First off, the micarta scales are great.

Competitiveness

Civivi tends to offer a lot of features at a fantastic price point.

It's not a protech malibu, but i think civivi has got its own thing here.

Mostly, i would have preferred a more west resistant steel (eg s30v, 35vn, 20cv, etc) but that would have obviously added to the price.
