Pros

The badlands vagabond is the third civivi knife i’ve purchased through amazon. The praxis is a bulkier knife that i will carry in the hip pocket of my jeans on my days off. The carbon fiber with a damascus blade, this one is a winner.

It's nice to hold and nicely styled. It comes pretty sharp almost razor sharp. Easy to mantain and perfect for edc. Comes with a clip and amp.

The flipping action is perfect out the box and this folder is light. Ceramic ball bearings make the action smooth. The twill design on the handle makes it easier to grip. G10 handles instead of flimsier injection mold.

This thing is fidget friendly like no other. The blade is sharp, perfectly centered, has a deep carry clip which can be left or right carry.

Cons

I am extremely disappointed and it's 2 days outside of the return period, so that's $42 down the drain. Terrible quality. Falling apart already.

Quality

I own 3 other civivi knives & have not been disappointed with the quality.

I know some folks are worried about it being a chinese company but the quality has been excellent.

The build quality also seemed about the same.

Not sure why they give you a eye glass case and a lens cleaner cloth with the purchase of a knife.

Price

Pretty impressive knife for the price i paid.

Overall a good value for the price i paid.

Shipping

Ships fast light weight super sharp and opens smooth and fast

Packaging/appearance

Feels great in the hand and comes sharp right out of the box!

Razor sharp right out the box definitely holds a edge .

Competitiveness

The badlands has 9cr18mov steel so you will need to strop it on the regular.

I started a few months ago with a discontinued benchmade nimravus that i found here on amazon and bought new.

It is not a hobby knife (get an x-acto).

I own several zt, benchmade, boker, kershaw, etc.

When pressing in the liner lock to unlock the blade for closing closing the blade also closes the flipper tab down on your thumb preventing you from accidentally closing the blade down on your finger before you can get it out of the way

It works but the position is a bit too close to the scale which makes it a bit awkward to flip open with the thumb stud
